Tele-health mainly involves corresponding with various clients regarding medical questions and issues. Telehealth nurses are set up to receive calls and respond to various medical queries from clients as well as make outbound calls to patients who are suffering from certain chronic conditions.

Generally, qualification as a tele-health nurse requires a minimum of an associate degree.
